A promising start for the men, a clear defeat for the women. During the first day of this year's Novotel-Cup the Luxembourgish teams experienced the ups and downs of a Volleyball life. Whereas the men could overcome the American team Steven Ducks in three hard-foughts sets, the women got the short end of the stick against our neighbour from Terville.

Today the lions will encounter the U16 team of Germany in the women's and the French team of Calais in the men's competition.
