The Lux Beach Tour '26 reached its climax in Esch-Alzette, with new champions crowned in both the men's and women's competitions following 2 days of high-quality, closely fought beach volleyball.

Men's Final: Hilbert/Weber defend the Title

Colin Hilbert and Steve Weber claimed the men's title with a dominant 2-0 (21-18, 21-13) victory over Lucas Pernossi and Matthis Wolff. After edging a tight first set, Weber and Hilbert took control in the second, pulling away to secure a convincing win. Pernossi and Wolff matched their opponents early on but couldn't sustain the pace as the final wore on.

Women's Final: Kauka/Picht Crowned Champions

Carlotta Kauka and Lara Picht won the women's title, defeating Laura Ruellan and Nadja Schaus 2-0 (21-18, 21-19). Both sets were tightly contested from start to finish, but Kauka and Picht held their nerve at the key moments to close out the match and lift the trophy.

Bronze Medal Matches

The battles for third place delivered plenty of drama of their own.

In the men's bronze medal match, Chris Zender and Chris Zuidberg defeated Loris Centrone and Tim Mangen 2-0 (21-19, 22-20) in two tightly contested sets.

In the women's bronze medal match, Nati San Martin and Gosia Plusa staged an impressive comeback. After dropping the first set 18-21 to Marthe Lorang and Karolina Complak, they levelled with a 21-19 second set before closing out the match with a dominant 15-9 third set to claim bronze, 2-1.

A Strong Finish to the Season

With titles decided across all categories, the Lux Beach Tour '26 provided a fitting conclusion to the season in Esch-Alzette, highlighting the strength and depth of beach volleyball in Luxembourg. Congratulations to all finalists and medallists on a fantastic tournament.
